Some new stuff

This LO came from a challenge created by myself for the Scrapbook Challenges group on Cafe Mom. We have many different color challenges, technique challenges and sketches on our group so I decided to pick one of each (grey, green and blue; chalk popping, sketch #23) to create a challenge. The challenge lasts a month to give enough time for everyone to come up with something really great and if there are enough participants then there will be a voting poll and small prize!
This LO came from a kit challenge. One of my other groups on Cafe Mom will be having a cyber crop in May and one of the challenges was to create a LO with a kit sent to use and a sketch assigned. The items that I used from the kit are the rose patterned paper, the two flowers, the black cardstock, the rose image in the bottom corner, the black butterfly, and the two red heart brads.

This was a fun LO to do. This was another challenge from one of my groups on Cafe Mom. We were given a half map (6x12 sketch from pagemaps.com) and then told to convert it into a full sized LO while trying to keep our background minimal.

This is another challenge for our cyber crop in May on Cafe Mom. This is a "book about me" challenge that will go week to week. Each week there will be a new sketch and new theme to help us scrap ourselves. Since this was the first page I thought it was perfect to use a baby picture of myself on my birthday! I really love the way this one turned out. Cross your fingers that I win!!!

This LO came from one of the April Challenges from the gals at Simply Scrapping This was challenge #6 to use a one word title and use photos depicting that one word. For me this one was easy!!! What do I have an abundance of in my house GREEN!! So i just walked around the house taking pictures of all my green things and then made this LO which I love. What a perfect way to scrap my favorite color!

This LO came from a challenge on Cafe Mom as well. We were given the song My Wish by Rascal Flats as inspiration. We were to use at least something in the song as part of the title. As I read the lyrics to the song the line "show the world the warmth of your smile" reached out and grabbed me. I love the way this LO turned out.
